About
Life, Decluttered chronicles my journey into decluttering every aspect of my life: my finances, my personal belongings, my apartment, and any thing in between. It’s a personal project where I write about anything that pertains to decluttering my life in an attempt to hold myself accountable.
A little more information about me: I’m a 23-year-old female just out of school working a part-time job and working hard to become financially independent and learning as much as I can about frugality, minimalist living, and sustainability. As it stands, I currently make about $12,000 a year and I live on my own with my sister as a roommate. I have worked really hard to have good credit, but I’m constantly worrying about my credit card debt and living paycheck to paycheck and I know I’m not alone.
My ultimate goal is to owe nothing and live on less. To do this I have worked out a general plan and hope to be debt free by January 2011.
